Stephen is an Australian from Killcare Surf Club on the Central Coast New South Wales. His two children are Viking Nippers and his wife Lucy is a Viking Water Safety Coordinator.

Drew

Drew is a Journalism graduate from Maroochydoore Surf Lifesaving Club on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia.

Jodie

Jodie is from Britain and her son is a Viking Nipper.  

Experience: Marine Biologist, Marine biology lecturer, Teacher (UK & UAE), sports leader for regional sporting competitions, beach school developer, marine conservation consultant to various UAE conservation groups developing educational material for delivery to various age groups, keen surfer, diver and open water swimmer.

Stewy

Stewy is a keen athlete that has completed the Dubai Ironman 70.3. He has also helped to develop the UAÈ National Lifeguard Championship, an annual professional lifeguard competition here in the UAÈ.

Experience: Extensive background in water safety as a lifeguard, instructor and managing aquatic safety at swimming & triathlon events in the UAE. In addition he has taught swimming, snorkeling, kayak, archery and mountain biking.

Renae

Renae is an Australian from Shellharbour Surf Club, New South Wales with two children that are members of Viking Nippers and Rookie Lifeguards.

Experience: Nipper, Volunteer Lifesaver, R&R, National Beach Sprinter, Crossfit Instructor and fully qualified Group and Personal Trainer.

What does Nippers mean to you? Fun, Surf awareness, Community, Safety, Australia!

Kenny

Kenny is an Australian with a gorgeous 6 month old girl who is already keen to join Vikings when she turns 5!

Experience: Qualified Swim Teacher (SEQ Swimming Assistant level 1 SEQ Teaching Swimming level 2, National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC);  plus an enthusiastic, positive and motivating Junior PE Teacher with vast experience coaching a range of sports we will cover at Vikings.

Jayne

Jayne is from Britain. Her two children are Vikings Nippers.

Experience: Current Head of Junior PE at Kent College, with vast experience teaching swimming, athletics and a range of games.

Craig

Craig Tanner is a Podiatrist from Woolamai Beach Surf Lifesaving Club in Victoria, Australia. He has two children that are members of Viking Nippers and Rookie Lifeguards.

Experience: Surf Lifesaver, Training Officer, Club Captain, Deputy President, District Supervisor and Surf Lifesaving Association Examiner

Bridie

Bridie Johnson is an enthusiastic, sport loving Australian from Queensland with over 20+ years experience teaching primary aged children. 

Experience: A junior PE specialist taking up a role at the new Australian School in Dubai, she has a real love for rugby, netball and swimming. As a swim specialist trained with Austwim she has extensive experience teaching swimming here in the UAE.
